The upgrade will help ensure that EIS operates reliably, securely, and smoothly in the future, even during periods of high usage, such as the spring e-assessment exams and national tests.
EIS will be in maintenance mode starting from 19 December at 19:00 and will be fully operational again no later than 27 December. During the upgrade period, it will not be possible to use EIS. Please complete all necessary actions before the maintenance period begins.
After the upgrade, the new address of EIS will be eis.harno.ee. The current address eis.ekk.edu.ee will automatically redirect users to the new environment. All data and results will be transferred securely.
From 2025 onwards, the Examination Information System will be managed by the Education and Youth Board instead of the Ministry of Education and Research. This upgrade is part of a planned development aimed at creating a secure and unified technical foundation for the organisation of examinations and tests. In addition to EIS, the vocational examinations testing environment will also be migrated to the state cloud.
